Team Mill Creek Shines at Senior Olympics

Excitement filled the air as Mill Creek residents boarded the bus, proudly cheering for Team Mill Creek on their way to compete in the Senior Olympics at a sister facility. The competitive spirit was contagious, with everyone eager to take part in the games ahead.



Once at the event, our Olympians gave it their all in various games, including basketball shooting, javelin throwing, ring toss, and bean bag toss. Though the competition was fierce, the camaraderie and laughter shared among the residents were the real highlights. Mill Creek athletes brought home participation trophies, while our dedicated staff earned a Gold Medal in their events!



After the games, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch together, celebrating both the victories and the fun of the day. On the ride back, residents couldn’t stop chanting "Mill Creek Hooray!" as they reminisced about their day of friendly competition. The scenic drive home through the countryside added the perfect touch to a wonderful outing.
